Reassessments
Reassessments can be completed at a time which is best suitable to you, including out of normal office hours. We understand that it can be both frustrating and inconvenient to have to miss out on valuable working days to complete your assessments, so we want to provide you with an opportunity to complete them at the weekend, opening both on Saturdays and Sundays. As this service may not be available at many other centres, it is a popular choice for many, so please do not hesitate to call to find out our availability.

Plumber To Gas Course
If you can install a Gas Boiler and pipe it up, then you could carry out this course.
This course usually starts with five days initial training, where we can assess your current knowledge and experience and work out a training plan to suit you as an individual.
The Plumber to Gas Course is part of a Managed Learning Programme which is accredited by Blue Flame Certification. The national Industry requirement for all MLP's is in accordance with IGE/IG/1 and states that all candidates must carry out a minimum of 280 guided learning hours.

Pathway to Gas (PG1 Course)
Managed Learning Programme in accordance with IGEM/IG/1
If you want to become a Gas Engineer, then this is the course for you!
It starts with seven weeks of initial training and also includes Home studies. This is followed by an Individual Training Plan catered to you, which will be agreed with us. There will be a minimum of 280 learning hours.
In between hours spent in our centre, you will carry out an on-the-job Training Programme designed and discussed with your Gas Safe Registered Engineer. This must be spread over a minimum six-month period; however, we would advise you take longer on this.
When you are ready to proceed and complete your training, you will then attend a one-week refresher training followed by four days of ACS Assessments.
The in-centre training days listed act as a guide and some people may need further days training, at ECS Goole we will provide these at NO EXTRA CHARGE.

This course is one of the most successful new entrants’ courses in the UK, provided at less than half the cost of many other centres across the country.

We are an approved Training Provider and our Pathway to Domestic Natural Gas course is approved by the Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) certified by Blue Flame Certification. Completion of our course requires a portfolio of evidence. You will require a number of on-site jobs; the number of jobs is dependent upon the appliance pathway you have chosen, e.g. CCN 1 (which includes CPA 1) with CENWAT, CKR 1 and HTR 1 you would be expected to complete jobs with evidence of you working on these appliances whilst under the supervision of a Gas Safe Registered engineer acting as the candidates mentor.
We also do a pathway that gains the qualifications CMA 1 and MET 1, this will gain you the qualifications to work within Smart Metering.
